Project Description |
Presidential Scoops was looking for a new location not too far from the White House. They found a small space that was previously a coffee shop. The inspiration for the
design was a combination of vintage ice cream parlor, the District’s Federalist style, Americana, and the White House itself. Throughout the space are vignettes that
reference these items, such as the trim work on the back wall resembling the front of the White House and the tile wall as an abstract interpretation of the American flag.
Since the space was small and had a limited day lighting source, white was used throughout to brighten the space.
